All-new. All-electric. All-truck. As a first of it’s kind, the F-150 Lightning had a lot of eyes and a lot of attention that needed a lot of photography and video assets. We set out to create something we hadn’t seen yet for the Lightning – something unexpected.

Tasked with creating the printed catalog for Ford dealers around the country, we took the trucks to the Pacific Northwest and put them to the test. Snow, mud, sand and rain didn’t stand a chance and we were able to capture truly memorable moments for Ford.

We were approached by THOR Industries, Inc. – which is a family of companies that represents the world's largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles – to create a new employee onboarding video. The task was great as the company list owned by THOR is massive and complex. We were able to use amazing footage to better understand the THOR brand and company values.

We were tasked by Ford Motor Company to create a livestream and how-to-videos for one of their most requested subjects: towing. A grievance for many, the task can seem complicated and intimidating so we set out to educate the masses.

In preparation for a Livestream event, where we had Ford Product Specialist Engineers on hand with our host to inform and answer questions live on stage, we prepared with on-location shoots with our experts to show step-by-step instructions all of the innovative towing technology offered by Ford. Each topic featured a different tech feature as well as vehicle and these topics were categorized as Beginner and Advanced – so there was truly something for everyone on the towing education scale.

When it was time for the Livestream, we broadcast live via Ford.com as well as YouTube and broke records with views and engagement. In the end, each topic was separated out as individual content and made available online as a valuable resource for the future.

The A8 is the flagship vehicle for Audi and a vanguard for technology and engineering. The 2019 model is particularly important as the first in a new design language for the brand. The 2019 is all-new, and Audi wanted to launch this vehicle in a manner consistent with the model's prestige amongst the entire portfolio of vehicles.

The challenge: Capture the models tech-forward positioning in a stimulating and engaging way, and provide a deeper explanation of the vehicle's benefits to prospective drivers. To appeal to potential A8 buyers, we created a premium direct mail package that was mailed to high-end targets likely to consider this vehicle. An elegant black box featuring design elements consistent with the high-tech nature of the vehicle was opened to reveal an included video player. Once opened, the player displayed a video showcasing the new A8, and individual vehicle technologies. For people outside of the top tier of prospects, we sent a mailer that included NFC or Near Field Communication technology. Depending on their choice of smartphone, prospects could access the NFC chip or a URL to see the video, as well as other information at a custom-designed website experience.

We created a full media campaign called “I am” that authentically showcased real women – not just models – doing everyday things in ways customers could relate to. The campaign elevated the brand and created an emotional connection with consumers who had left the brand or weren’t even considering it.

Deliverables included all-new national print ads, television spots, photography, CG animations, videos, web elements, direct-mail campaigns, highly targeted online advertising, custom music scoring, and even designed and orchestrated their annual national sales event.

This amazing foundation raises funds to research treatments for incurable pediatric brain cancer, with a focus on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. I was introduced to the then ChadTough Foundation in 2019. From that moment on, my life was forever changed. The foundation was created when Tammy and Jason Carr lost their five year old son, Chad, to DIPG – a form of pediatric brain cancer that has no cure. When Chad passed away, they knew they had to do more and that’s when the ChadTough Foundation was born. This year, in 2021, the foundation has merged with The Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG foundation to form ChadTough Defeat DIPG. Now, with combined forces the two families are able to raise more money to beat this terrible disease.

At Latcha + Associates we donate our time to help the foundation with work that includes videos, event assistance, email communications, website re-design and the complete rebranding of the foundation. The gratification to actually be pushing the needle to make a difference, is hard to put into words.

We needed to revamp and rethink the Audi Handraiser program. Working closely with our Strategy and Analytics team, we mapped out the customer journey through various touch points and created “if this, then that” scenarios.

On the Development side, we created hundreds of dynamic email templates for mobile and desktop that would respond automatically and seamlessly based on the device. To further tailor the experience, we utilized personalization to connect with the customer and their actions.

We needed a refresh in assets for Audi, particularly featuring diverse talent within the upper-tier SUV and sedan segments. Each scenario was tailored to the Audi customer based on specific data points and with that knowledge, locations were chosen to properly set the stage for each vehicle. In the end, we were able to satisfy projects with customized messaging and imagery to fit our customers lifestyle and interests.

When we need to work around vehicle embargoes, production schedules or product updates, CGI creation mixed with on-site photography is a solution to the road-block.

Audi collection is an array of products curated for Audi enthusiasts. Our task was to highlight each product in a lifestyle manner focusing on the items in a natural, casual setting.

Not for the faint of heart or those afraid of making it ‘bigger’ or ‘bolder’. Casino accounts are no joke – there is an enormous amount of design collateral: outdoor, print, digital, variable data, special printing techniques that all need to be wrapped up with a VERY shiny bow that resembles money. Don’t forget the monthly gifts to card holders that include photoshoots and quick turnarounds. Oh, and logos. So. Many. Logos. A total trip but so much fun.

We created videos for Audi dealers to feature various Audi Accessories in their showrooms as well as email communications. These were seasonal requests that we fulfilled with Latcha stills and video footage shot on-location. Video personalization was also utilized for the dealers when needed.

Audi tasked us with creating a highly-targeted Conquest and Owner campaign within their top sedan and SUV markets. For this project, we utilized our photography and created a show-stopping direct mail piece that featured unique production techniques like high-gloss finishes and embossing on uncoated paper. We also created personalized videos with footage pulled from several different sources that featured either the Audi A6 and A7 or the Audi Q7 and Audi Q8. Within the Owner segment, we were able to create personalized videos that featured the recipients name in the intro.

Audi asked us to create a campaign for the A6 allroad Launch. We started with a direct mail piece that could highlight all of its top-tier SUVs. We utilized the stunning photography to create an experience for the consumer visually as well as physically with high-end production techniques. Uncoated, textured paper with the addition of vellum sheets, foil stamping and high-gloss accents took the reader on a journey through each SUV. In addition to the printed mailer, social assets and banner ads were created to support the campaign.

Ads promoting Audi Genuine Accessories, Audi Service and Audi Collection in various publications that included Quattro Quarterly and Audi Magazine. More often than not, the ads were designed with photography from our brand shoots which we produced from beginning to the end.

American Laser Skincare was the leader and largest provider of skincare solutions in the nation. As a designer for the in-house creative team at the corporate office, I created social media assets, email creative, printed collateral, weekly website updates as well as assisted in the planning of the monthly promotions.

When time allows, I love to dig into side-projects that are near-and-dear to my heart. Donating designs to charitable causes, helping out a friend with a new business venture, or picking up a special task from the clients.
